Foster Homes

Fostering an animal is an important part of rescue and a very rewarding experience.  Fostering gives an animal a home environment, training, socialization, and lots of love.

We learn more about their personality and temperament which helps us to find the right match between animal and adopter. By fostering a homeless animal, you can experience the joys of being a pet parent without the lifetime of responsibility.

We especially need foster homes for puppies and kittens.

Fostering can range from 2 weeks to 2 months depending on the age of the animal or if the animals just needs some socialization before being adoptable.

Fosters are responsible for the welfare of the animal in their care. They provide food, water, shelter, exercise, socialization, and lots of love.   MPAR is responsible for all vetting and medical needs. We can provide bedding and crates if needed.  We can also provide pet food if supplies allows it.

For more information on fostering an animal, contact our Foster Home coordinator at  MPAR.fostering@gmail.com.
